Bidford
Boats, established in 1973 by Shelford and Anne Bidwell
after the restoration of the Upper Avon, is an
independent, family owned boatyard situated on Shakespeare's River Avon in the Heart of England.
Its
location makes it an excellent starting point for
exploring Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon and the beautiful and
historic Vale of Evesham, but with an excellent choice of
cruising routes for those who want a canal holiday further afield.

With
our
small fleet of purpose-built canal hire boats, we can give personal attention to all our
customers, giving detailed instructions on handling the hire boats and showing those new to
canal holidays (and old
hands if they like) through their first lock.
All boats
have Upper Avon, Lower Avon and British Waterways canal and River Severn licences. Free car parking (two
cars per boat) is available at Bidford Boats and dogs are welcome. Discounts are made on two week bookings.
